Remember the first time you caught sight of the ocean? Remember how excited you were and how you couldn’t wait to see it up close? Remember the sand between your feet and the sun on your body? Remember the wake-up wind on your face?
Those memories keep calling you back to the beach. When ordinary life weighs you down, you know some time at the beach will always be a balm to give a rest to your cares. And when you round the bend and see the ocean again, no matter how old you are, you know you will be excited to reach your destination.
One of the oldest beach destinations is Seaside. While keeping a nostalgic quality, it has modernized its facilities for staying near the ocean. Some of the best rental homes are those managed by Rogers Inn Vacation Home Rentals, which is a premiere management company in the Seaside area.
While you take care of the packing and driving, Rogers takes care of all the details of providing you a great place to stay on your vacation. There is a large variety of vacation homes from which to choose.
So, if you are just a couple, a larger family, or if you even need more room, Rogers Inn has the right home for you.
Seaside offers the draw of the beach and is surrounded by natural beauty. After a day of playing in the ocean and building sand castles, the kids will like the nearby Seaside Boardwalk, where it seems something is always happening. Just being in the parade of people on the main street is exhilarating, and the shops offer almost anything anybody could want. The kids are always kept busy by the attractions made just for them, and there is no need to drive long distances to find amusement.
Hot Night in Seaside
Submitted by Ron Wrolson
When I was a young boy of maybe 16, my family spent a night at that brick
one-story motel wing on 3rd st., I believe, up close to the Prom. Well, my
mother adjusted the thermostat at bed time and I remember sweating the
entire night from the stifling heat. It wasn't until the next morning that
my mother started giggling at herself and shamefully admitted that she had
mistakenly set the temperature for 85 degrees, instead of what she thought
was 65 in the dim light the night before. It is one of my funniest memories
of my dear departed mother and our many trips to the Oregon Coast as a
child.
